What atmosphere is created by Norilsk Nickel implementation of Digital Signage technology

On October 8, 2015 Norilsk Nickel MMC announced system implementation of corporate television on the basis of Digital Signage technology.

Project Progress

Norilsk Nickel implemented the system of corporate television: the network of 52 information screens broadcasts in administrative and household complexes of the plants and mines:

• hall,
• lobbies,
• dining rooms,
• places of the greatest accumulation of people,
• production premises.

Diagonal of screens varies from 35 to 55 inches and depends on type and purpose of the premises in which corporate TV is installed.

Screens transfer various content:

• news of the company,
• useful tips for specialists,
• the training information,
• projects of Norilsk Nickel and action of partners.

By means of action of a new system the staff of MMC learns about life and achievements of colleagues, about development of the company and perspective projects, current events of the industry, important innovations of edge.

Project Results

The mining and metallurgical company appreciated efficiency and easy management of new technology. The introduced system creates the special atmosphere of corporate accessory and develops image of the company.

The Digital Signage technology allows to broadcast as text information in the form of the image ideas of the company, statistical data about the started projects and industry indicators, and video: interview with specialists, congratulatory addresses.

The complete set on expansion of files is provided: video, freeze frame image, flash.

Earlier in the company message boards, the website and mail which did not allow to update quickly data were used, employees not always paid attention to declarations. Now it is easy to place up-to-date information: one specialist from service of internal communications of the company is engaged in service of a complex.

The network of information carriers works at the software "SDB the Complex", uses resources of a corporate data network and functions round the clock, it is possible to configure the schedule of broadcasting. Failures by a program part were not. The visibility of information increased many times: screens clearly demonstrate content, it became available and attractive thanks to multimedia technologies.
