ALAN IT implemented a management system for IT infrastructure based on Microsoft System Center in Rusagro-Invest LLC

October 23, 2015. The company ALAN-information technologies reported^[1] about project completion on system implementation of management of IT infrastructure based on Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 in Rusagro-Invest LLC. Increase in efficiency of IT services of the company became a main goal of the project.

Choosing a Solution

Specialists were faced by a task to organize the centralized and coordinated management IT Wednesday in the conditions of geographical distribution of objects.

Specialists of ALAN IT company were involved to the solution of this task. Before start of the project specialists of Rusagro-Invest LLC booked detailed audit of IT infrastructure of all branch network as a result of which the main problems in the IT-sredy organization of the company were defined. On the basis of the analysis the decision on implementation of a packet of products of the line of Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 - the complete solution by assessment, automation and management of the physical and virtual IT environment was made.

Project Progress

During the project tasks of configuration management and security (Configuration Manager implementation), monitoring and data backup (Operations Manager and Data Protection Manager), management of virtualization (Virtual Machine Manager) were step by step solved, infrastructure of self-service (App Controller) and administration of the IT environment (Operations Manager) is provided. Implementation of the integrated Service Manager platform became a result of project development. Interacting with other programs of a packet of System Center, the Service Manager platform provided a possibility of timely response to the arising problems and changes, that having allowed to organize stable system of technical support and to cut down the expenses of the organization connected with a stop of work of business processes in case of technical failures.

Result

Within the project will reach the high level of providing service (SLA), methodologies of its assessment and distribution of responsibility are developed. Thanks to implementation of Microsoft System Center the main key performance indicators of IT department of network of the Rusagro-Invest LLC enterprises and Agrotekhnologii LLC considerably grew that allows to execute SLA up to standard. Besides, within the project on implementation of the Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 ALAN IT Company performed system implementation of corporate communications based on Microsoft Lync Server 2013 in network of the Rusagro-Invest LLC enterprises and Agrotekhnologii LLC.

In general product introduction of Microsoft company in Rusagro-Invest LLC and Agrotekhnologii LLC allowed to improve control over infrastructure, monitoring, automation and processes of self-service in the conditions of complex IT structure of the enterprises.
