Today the agricultural enterprises from 12 areas of the Belgorod region with a total area of arable lands more than 274 thousand hectares and also dairy and commodity complexes and an elevator are a part of agrarian company "Rusagro-Invest".

2017: Space data in agriculture
Russian Space Systems holding (RKS, is included into ROSKOSMOS State corporation) and Rusagro-Invest LLC (enters into Rusagro group) signed at the end of 2017 the memorandum of cooperation in development and implementation of digital technologies in the agricultural industry. The parties are going to develop jointly software solutions for assessment and modeling of development of crops using stream data processing of the remote sensing of the earth (RSE). The created technologies will be applied to exact agriculture of farm vehicles, united in computer-controlled network of Internet of Things (IoT).
RKS and Rusagro-Invest intend to coordinate implementation of target programs and projects with use of technologies of data processing of DZZ, the analysis of meteodata, calculation of spectral indexes of assessment of a status of vegetation. The parties agreed jointly to develop technologies of visualization of space data on the card, online access to high-detailed pictures with high frequency of updating for any ground for exact mapping of borders of fields and crop rotations, fertility zones and also vegetation condition monitoring.
Are going to develop software products which will allow to process quickly data from the DZZ satellites and sensors installed on the earth for assessment of a status of lands and modeling of development of crops of RKS and Rusagro-Invest. Results of processing of these data will be used for situational monitoring, and the arrays of information created from them then will be applied to creation of predicative models using machine learning technologies and Big Data.
Creation of infrastructure for implementation in Russia of technologies of computer-controlled exact agriculture by agricultural machinery and the equipment will become one more direction of cooperation of RKS and Rusagro-Invest. It is for this purpose going to use the existing practices of RKS in the field of geoinformation services and a possibility of high-precision navigation.
