Than Sayanogorsk Aluminium Smelter took production transport under control

On October 29, 2015 it became known of the project of equipment of locomotives at Sayanogorsk Aluminium Smelter navigation equipment of production Fort Telecom. Works in the project were performed by the company "Navitekhservice" GLONASS Equipment^[1].

Project Tasks

The Sayanogorsk Aluminium Smelter is serviced by shunting locomotives - bring employees to work, and trunk - provide transportation of raw materials from one workshop in another, create structures for sending finished goods across Russia and other countries.

For effective work a system using which it is possible to control movement of locomotives and their fuel consumption was required for the plant.

Project Progress

Solution basis - the equipment of production Fort Telecom. For installation used Fort-112 terminal model, it gives a connectivity of cameras, has protection against short-term voltage surges – the frequent phenomenon on the vehicle network of locomotives.

Project Results

Together with terminals on locomotives fuel level sensors are installed. The complexity of functioning of a system on an object is caused by existence of the electromagnetic fields complicating operation of electric devices, however Fort-112 terminals showed correct work during the tests which are carried out prior to installation.

System management is executed using the software of FortMonitor, it helps:

• control movement of structures in the ways,
• calculate working hours and parking,
• control fuel consumption,
• prevent unauthorized drainings
• keep track of quantity and time of gas stations.
