2015: The MIC creates a management system for forces of national defense

On November 19, 2015 United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation (UIMC) announced development of the software package "Integration" which will allow to integrate in a common information space the automated control systems (ACS) of different childbirth, types of troops and even coalition forces of Union States.

As it appears from the message of a MIC, Integration by request of the Russian Defense Ministry is created by the economies entering into corporation the Central scientific research institute, information science and management systems (Central Research Institute EISU) and Avicomp Services company. The last specializes in IT solutions in the field of semantic technologies which are the cornerstone of a new software package.

"Integration" will integrate in uniform to an infopola all management systems for troops of the Russian Federation

The technology is going to be applied as the universal solution at  creation of data processing centers and  operations control rooms of strategic, operational and  tactical links. It can use data of different ACS for the analysis, modeling, processing and information storage in a uniform format. One of examples of use of innovation is formation of a full-scale picture of dislocation of troops, statuses of arsenals, actions of aircraft and the fleet in the specific region, reported in the press service of a MIC.

As the head of department of the innovative development of a MIC Alexander Kalinin specified, the existing ACS were developed by different authors taking into account specifics of a certain childbirth and types of troops, different approaches to control automation were applied. Their consolidation represents difficult process with which Integration should cope.

It is supposed that the new complex will allow to reduce time and finance costs on consolidation ACS by 40–80%. At the same time integration can be performed without serious intervention in management systems — without reprogramming, by means of a uniform data model which "understands" language of all integrated systems.[1]
