ViPNet Client for Tizen

ViPNet Client for Tizen is the application for protection of smartphones and tablets running Tizen OS from network attacks and secure access to corporate network.

2016: ViPNet Client for Tizen supports "Sibrus"

On December 8, 2016 the Infotecs company and Cybernika company announced the beginning of partnership in a question of joint development of the multifunction communication system using the certified cryptographic data protection.

At the heart of the joint solution flagship products of the companies: corporate Sibrus messenger of Cybernika company and software package ViPNet Client of Infotecs company. Both products are included into the Unified register of the Russian programs for electronic computers and databases of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.

The ViPNet Client for Tizen system creates the protected network in which the Sibrus messenger works. Communications and interaction of users in the messenger are implemented on encrypted link with the certified cryptographic protection. The solution supports group chats with a possibility of exchange of any types of files, audio-and video calls, conference communication. For joint work the manager of tasks and an organizer for planning of meetings is provided.

2015: Announcement of the solution

On November 17, 2015 the companies Infotecs also Samsung provided ViPNet Client for Tizen.

ViPNet Client for Tizen does not require the superuser's rights for installation to the smartphone or the tablet.

Product development was followed by development of the CIPF and making changes in the Tizen VPN API code, the requirements of regulators to a CIPF considering the Russian specifics.

For November 17, 2015 the software product is submitted on certification of century FSB Russia.

This solution allows to protect information transferred between the telephone device of the client and corporate network including control link of MDM. Besides, visitors of an action studied the solution ViPNet SDK for Tizen – the means of cryptographic information protection intended for embedding in user applications of domestic cryptoalgorithms of the signature and enciphering. ViPNet SDK for Tizen allows to protect locally stored data on the telephone device in case of its theft or loss. Also using the device it is possible to implement services of electronic legally significant document management.
