For what "Western Union of DP the East" started the system of interbank banking

On November 26, 2015 R-Style Softlab announced start of a system of Internet banking of a class "bank bank" on the platform of the software package InterBank in NPO Vestern Union DP Vostok LLC, Western Union subsidiary company, for work with credit institutions in Russia^[1].

Project Tasks

System implementation, according to the statement of partners in the project, will allow the banks working with NPO Vestern Union DP Vostok LLC to execute standard transactions:

• receive and send payment instructions,
• provide account statements of LORO, to the NPO opened on balance,
• check correctness of filling of fields of the payment order, signatures by means of the channel of interaction.

Project Progress

In the project needed to execute integration into the core banking system from other vendor regarding obtaining bank information. The web service for file sharing (payments in the SWIFT format), protected by the electronic digital signature is developed and implemented.

Project Results

Andrey Ageev, the area director of Western Union in Russia, reported:

- A new system allowed NPO Vestern Union DP Vostok LLC to make process of settlement with partners in Russia simpler and automated.

Diana Rahmani, the deputy CEO of R-Style Softlab company, noted:

- Feature of the project were increased requirements of the customer to information security of settlement with banks. We managed to provide the high level of security using different tools, in particular thanks to support of the EDS.
