"Municipal services" of the city of Obninsk completed implementation of service of control of special equipment

On December 1, 2015 the Omnicomm company announced project completion on equipment of the utility equipment of the city of Obninsk a monitoring system of Omnicomm Online transport.

Project Results

The network resource of city administration of Obninsk provides all access to the software of Omnicomm Online in browse mode where all park of the utility and economic equipment of the city is reflected. Now citizens can visit the website and look where there are housing and communal services and what they are engaged in. Using service it is possible to check - how long city streets cleaned up, having selected the necessary street on the card.

Vladislav Shapsha, the head of city administration of Obninsk, noted:

- It is obvious that implementation of this complex does well the organizations of work of our municipal economy. Let's look at the end of year what economy will turn out and as far as it will be effective. But it is already possible to draw a conclusion that the solution to purchase and install a similar system on machines of our vehicle fleet was justified.

For December 1, 2015 monitoring of Omnicomm Online transport equips all park of the municipal enterprise of the city of Obninsk from 92 units of the specialized equipment.

Yury Kopyshenkov, the chief of a repair transport service of municipal services of Obninsk, noted considerable cost reduction on fuel and lubricants after Omnicomm Online system implementation at the enterprise, inappropriate use of the equipment is excluded:

- In 6 months of use of the solution Omnicomm Online it was succeeded to systematize work of vehicle fleet of the enterprise, to increase discipline of employees, to set observation of accomplishment of an assigned task, to exclude plunder of fuel when filling on gas station and drainings of fuel from tanks of cars. With implementation of monitoring also work of dispatching service which can quickly define location of this or that piece of equipment in the city now improved, see and redirect if necessary on the next to it a route to exclude a rerun and respectively an excessive consumption of fuel. All these measures allowed us to reduce costs for fuel and lubricants, replacement of autobuses and passing of TO on average by 50%.

Stanislav Yemelyanov, the deputy CEO of Omnicomm, said:

- Most the municipal enterprises still considers a fuel consumption on the regulations set in Soviet period. Such form of government transport proved the inefficiency long ago. In present realities we note great interest to the solution Omnicomm Online from state companies and it, first of all, is connected with desire to cut down expenses on fuel and lubricants and to automate work of the park.
