Interview with the senior vice president of Galaktika corporation Andrey Marushkevich

Andrey Marushkevich: "We have a full-scale product of the class ERP which is completely ready for import substitution".

TAdviser: The Russian economy endures serious recession. Whether universal it how the defense industry complex in a present situation feels?

Andrey Marushkevich: I would tell what not bad stirred up the market, but the mechanical engineering industry on the contrary - began to revive. And there is no wonder: the state set for it the task of increase in defense capability of the country. And the state order, as we know, is not subject to market disorders.

In development of the sector considerable investments, in particular, into the production area in defense industry complex are planned. I will note that the positive effect will affect also allied industries as it is necessary to use up to several tens for production of one product, and even hundreds of the enterprises. But it will be necessary to be responsible for investments: a lot of work on a part of upgrade of productions is necessary, and it is difficult if you have in hands only outdated tools.

Ahead solution of difficult tasks: it is necessary to distribute and perform the state defense order which grew in volume, to prepare production capacities and also to bring cooperation interaction between the plants to new level. Without automation it is absolutely impossible to make it.

TAdviser: Whether the Galaktika corporation is ready to participate in upgrade of the defense and industrial sector and mechanical engineering?

Andrey Marushkevich: Yes. For example, we already actively solve a problem of automation of interaction within interfactory cooperation, but not "bluntly" — using only one software, and in a complex. A product is not so much itself software how many our consulting support: the corporation has an examination, understanding as as it is possible to automate at the level of the organization of planning and production.

By the way, now the solution which we are ready to offer the market - "The Galaktika of MCM" passes prototyping stages in some large holdings, for example, in JSC United Engine Corporation. The task in short terms within import substitution is set for the enterprise to develop serial production of the helicopter VK-2500 engine and also some other perspective products for aircraft industry, shipbuilding and civil industries of the industry. It is necessary to adjust production processes so that and earlier mastered products to release in full, and to distribute production of nodes and units of a new product on the enterprises of corporation so that to the maximum to use the existing resource opportunities with simultaneous creation of competence centers by types of productions.

"The Galaktika of MCM" – the solution on management of interfactory cooperation, is created based on Galaktika AMM — management systems for the production and providing processes which is applied to management in difficult mechanical engineering and instrument making.

TAdviser: What else solutions are demanded at the enterprises of defense industry complex?

Andrey Marushkevich: As before — management systems for production assets and processes of a MRO. Our development in this area - "Galaktika EAM" (Enterprise Asset Management) automates management of an after-sale service and repair of the complex technical systems, at performance of contracts of complete lifecycle by defense industry enterprises.

You should not forget also about ERP systems. It is the most universal response to the majority of requests of clients. The modularity of "Galaktika ERP" allows to solve those problems which face this or that company. A system is successfully used at thousands of the enterprises, in it tens of thousands of specialists work. "Galaktika ERP" does not cease to develop, it is constantly updated, added new functionality. At the moment in operation there is version 9.1.

"Galaktika ERP" is developed on XAFARI. 99% of a program code entirely are based on the platform of domestic development. It allows to guarantee to clients the absolute level of information protection in use of a system that is especially important for the enterprises of the industry of a MIC and civil services. In this light we one of the few companies having a full-scale product of the class ERP which is completely ready to solve import substitution problems already now.

Last year the corporation raised a priority of works on ensuring compatibility of the products with open source software. Work on check of working capacity "Galaktika ERP" in the environment Astra Linux — the distribution kit only at the moment certified for work with information containing the data which are the state secret was carried out. The compatibility of page is also confirmed DBMS PostgreSQL.

TAdviser: What enterprises of the machine-building industry already use solutions of corporation? What projects the most interesting?

Andrey Marushkevich: The project on JSC Uraltransmash (Yekaterinburg) – one of the largest last year. "Galaktika ERP", Galaktika AMM is about large-scale product introduction. Also it should be noted a number of projects of our partner – "Financial technologies" at engineering enterprises in Siberia. I will bring only some of them: JSC Altayvagon enterprise (Siberian Business Union holding), JSC Scientific Research Institute of Measuring Devices — the Novosibirsk Plant of a Name of Komintern (JSC Air Defence Concern Almaz-Antey). There are projects on creation of the automated control system for production on defense industry enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod (Nizhny Novgorod Machine Building Plant and the Nizhny Novgorod research institute of radio engineering). In Tula the big complex project within High-precision Complexes holding of Russian Technologies State Corporation starts. Generally work is well under way.

TAdviser: How do you estimate the capacity of corporation whether it is capable to meet the growing demand for automated control systems from mechanical engineering?

Andrey Marushkevich: We are ready to an agiotage long ago: in the company about 800 people work, generally it is developers, analysts, testers. Our experience of creation of industrial products contains more than 28 years. The set of difficult application solutions is during this time developed, all of them are approved at thousands of the enterprises.
