XAFARI

The technology platform of XAFARI, is created based on the solution of Developer Express company – eXpress Application Framework (XAF).

"Galaktika" took advantage of the new platform — XAFARI. The means of XAF (eXpress Application Framework) developed by the American company DevExpress for is its cornerstone Microsoft .NET. It is already the fourth platform of Galaktika. In 1987 based on the first, Project Tools, created the solutions "Atlas CCI" and Atlant-TEP". The following platform — Atlantis — appeared in 1995, on it were created the first version "Galaktika ERP" and a number of specialized solutions. (2003) were based on the Ranet platform "Galaktika of BI", "Galaktika Insurance" and "Galaktika of SUIP".

On the basis of XAFARI two products — "Galaktika EAM" and Advanced Manufacturing Management are already created.

Among advantages of XAFARI Gatsko Gennady, the chairman of the board of directors of Galaktika, noted a possibility of rapid development and product introduction, their scalability, providing software as service, support of mobile clients, existence of the built-in management tools business processes, work with 17 most popular DBMS.

As believe in the companies, demand of a management system for production assets and processes of maintenance and repair (Enterprise Asset Management, EAM), in particular Galaktika of EAM, is connected with the fact that most the enterprises use the obsolete and worn-out equipment of Soviet period. So, the share of abnormal and unplanned works is high, the equipment often stands idle, housekeeping overheads and repair grow. The state began to pay more attention to this sphere that, for example, said in acceptance of new edition of Federal law No. 116 "About industrial security of hazardous production facilities".
