SATO transferred CRM and personal data to the Russian DPC

On December 14, 2015 announced Corus Consulting data transfer, used by the Russian representative office the Finnish investment company SATO by means of Microsoft CRM Online, in cloud infrastructure of hosting company Infobox. SATO started use of information in CRM, according to requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

In 2014 SATO began to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online at head office, and at the beginning of 2015 began implementation on this platform in the Russian representative office. The partner in implementation invited CORUS Consulting Group.

Project Progress

For reduction of business processes in compliance with requirements of the legislation on a personal data storage of the Russian citizens of territories of the country (FZ-242), SATO made the decision on data transfer in the Russian DPC.

The provider of a hosting Infobox company provided cloud infrastructure and the software of Microsoft in lease, for placement of the CRM system.

Project Results

As to us it is important to the foreign organization working at the territory of other state to observe most precisely all requirements of the legislation, especially if they concern such sensitive information as personal data of citizens. Using the capacities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM placed in the Russian data center we still have an opportunity to use all functionality of one of the best international CRM solutions and, at the same time, to provide full compliance with rules of work in Russia from the legal point of view. In order that to Microsoft Dynamics CRM it became available in the Russian cloud, we specially developed the automated solution for deployment of a system in a cloud environment of Microsoft which is provided by a number of the Russian DPCs. Thanks to it, we have an opportunity quickly and without the slightest losses of information to transfer data of any company using a cloud CRM system of Microsoft, in data centers in Russia, as was made for SATO.
