Rosneft purchased licenses of Microsoft for 354 million rubles

On January 12, 2016 Rosneft announced request for quotations on acquisition of licenses of Microsoft within the MPSA and Open License programs. Information on it is published on the portal of state procurements^[1].

Rosneft purchases licenses of Microsoft for 344 million rubles.

Rosneft and its child structures (all in documentation 67 companies are specified) need over 32 thousand software licenses of Microsoft, including the license for the SQL Server database management system, messaging solution and the organizations of joint work Exchange Server, office applications of Microsoft Office, the Windows operating system, etc.

The starting price of purchase is 344.2 million rubles. The compulsory provision for participants is the indication of percent of a discount from the price list of Microsoft on programs of licensing of MPSA and Open License. This discount will be included in the agreement for application when purchasing the software products which are not specified in the technical project.

According to the results of consideration of requests by the winner the I-Teco company was selected. In the course of biddings which dragged on till May, 2016 Rosneft increased the starting price and as a result of I-Teco agreed to deliver the necessary volume of licenses for 354.4 million rubles.

Let's remind that earlier it became known of other large IT purchases of Rosneft. In particular, the oil company is going to purchase network equipment (routers and switches) on 2.8 billion rubles. And in the 1.5-billion tender for delivery of the PC and monitors [1] winners are already defined.
