The modernization of the data center was carried out in stages in order to ensure the continuity of customer business processes. The first stage included an update to the video surveillance and access control system, which made it possible to improve the security of the facility.

The 3data technicians then replaced the uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs). Three new modular UPSs from IMPULSE were installed, each with a rating of 100 kVA. At the same time, the battery arrays from the manufacturer B.B.BATTERY with an increased number of batteries were completely replaced . This allowed to extend the battery life of the equipment up to 17 minutes. The UPS replacement took 3 working days, during the work the data center was powered by electricity from the diesel generator set (DGP), which ensures uninterrupted operation of the facility.

In May 2025, work was carried out to modernize the air conditioning system. As of June 2025, freon pipelines, receivers and external capacitor units have been completely replaced. Also in the next 3-4 months, it is planned to replace internal units by service life. The upgrade of air conditioners is aimed at maintaining reliability and increasing the performance of the cooling system, which will allow you to allocate additional power in favor of the server equipment of customers. The Stulz cold supply system will be replaced with a more productive new generation model.

The M8 data center was the first object in our network to undergo a global comprehensive modernization. Since its commissioning in 2014, the facility has demonstrated stable operation without significant incidents. This confirms the correctness of the chosen engineering solutions more than 10 years ago.
