Sinem of park changes a pool of servers and personal computers

On January 14, 2015 Fujitsu announced that it became the supplier of a server and computer hardware within the project of improvement of IT infrastructure of National movie theater chain CINEMA PARK.

For development of a new system of sales and a CRM system and also preparation of start of the new website and mobile application it was necessary to improve IT infrastructure of the company. At 15 movie theaters of National network CINEMA PARK it was required to replace a pool of servers of the sales which are responsible for support of a system, with new rack servers of Fujitsu of initial level, and also in addition to buy Fujitsu ESPRIMO P420 personal computers for use as ticket offices.

Except the single-processor Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX1330 M1 servers installed directly at movie theaters of network in the project the PRIMERGY RX2560 M1 servers which will provide functioning of a single centralized system of sales and work of a new CRM system in DPC of the company will be used.

Initially the standard of a complex from five servers at each movie theater was admitted to the companies. During the project it was decided to install the additional server in each of the new opening movie theaters which will ensure functioning of interactive systems of sales of tickets, i.e. sales in booking terminals, on the website of the company and via the official application for mobile platforms. It will allow to exclude dependence on communication quality of branches with the central data center of the company when ensuring continuous work of a terminal system of sales. At the same time on a part of local servers of the previous generation using Fujitsu memory upgrade was made that allowed not to replace the equipment and to optimize the budget.

The project with PARK company CINEMA is in implementation process with the assistance of the partner of Fujitsu – shipping documentation service company. The first project phase includes transfer of 5 first movie theaters of network on the new platform for debugging of a system in the test mode and personnel trainings then step-by-step weekly transfer of one of movie theaters of network to work on the new platform will begin. Project finish is planned for the middle of 2016 – to this term complete transition to the new system of sales, including implementation of CRM will be performed.
