Mathcad Gateway

Product
The name of the base system (platform): Mathcad
Developers: PTC Inc (Parametric Technology Corporation )
Date of the premiere of the system: 2016
Branches: Science and education

PTC presented the solution Mathcad Gateway for universal access to engineering calculations in January, 2016. The server of mathematical calculations will allow to execute engineering calculations at any time and in any place where there is a connection to the Internet, with ensuring protection of intellectual property of the enterprise

Mathcad Gateway integrates in itself computing opportunities of the software of PTC Mathcad and convenient remote access to calculations at any time and from any device connected to the Internet. The solution includes a remote settlement server to which the general access to the employees occupied with engineering calculations at the same time is provided protection of intellectual property of the enterprise is provided.

In the design bureaus using standard settlement techniques often there is a need to give access to all users for whom this information can be necessary for joint work over the project. At the same time it is necessary to exclude disclosure of the calculation procedure which represents the intellectual property of the enterprise.

PTC Mathcad Gateway was developed as the solution which does not depend on the platform in order that engineers and students could carry out freely calculations, at the same time access to techniques and algorithms of calculation could be provided only to administrators of contents.

Basic functions of PTC Mathcad Gateway:

  • Protection of intellectual property. Users receive techniques for carrying out engineering calculations, at the same time unauthorized access to the algorithm of a technique is excluded.
  • Universal access. The working groups can receive all powers for accomplishment of the certified calculations on the most different devices.
  • The center of the certified calculations. The working groups can execute the approved calculations for a standard technique — both in the organization, and beyond its limits.
