EPAM upgraded the RTS tender portal

EPAM, the developer of the custom software and IT service provider, and RTS-tender company, participant of the market of the organization of electronic procurement and biddings in Russia, executed upgrade of the platform www.rts-tender.ru. Project implementation provided a possibility of holding auctions for privatization of the state and municipal property in an electronic format in full accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The RTS tender is universal electronic platform for the public, municipal and commercial procurements and biddings. In July, 2015 before the company there was a task to expand functionality of the used IT platform to have an opportunity to hold the electronic auction on sale and lease of the state and municipal property. The EPAM company which specialists using technologies ASP.NET also LinqToSQL developed a number of functions and services of the platform was attracted to the project. It allowed to meet requirements of the federal legislation for property biddings, to provide the necessary level of transparency, performance and security.

The electronic platform the RTS tender represents hi-tech and modern service which significantly facilitates carrying out electronic biddings, provides their efficiency and competition. In many respects thanks to successfully implemented project the platform RTS tender was included into the list of six services which are officially approved by the Government of the Russian Federation which are selected for electronic privatization of the state and municipal property. At the end of December, 2015 on the platform RTS tender the government of the Moscow region successfully held the first similar auction.
