"Master" upgraded IT infrastructure at new operational office of VTB bank in Tyumen

The Master IT company executed the project on upgrade of a network and server framework at new operational office in Tyumen of VTB bank branch in Yekaterinburg.

For satisfaction to all requirements to computing resources of operational office of VTB bank branch servers of Hewlett-Packard company, HP ProLiant DL360 of the 9th generation, a storage system of HP of StoreVirtual 4330 and the system of virtualization based on the software of VMware vShpere were selected from Tyumen. The failsafe environment for reliable work of business applications was as a result constructed.

High data transfer rate and security of infrastructure services were some of the most important criteria when choosing active network equipment. In addition, the good base for transition from analog telephony to unified communications was required. Proceeding from it, in this project the following equipment of the company was used: the L3 Catalyst 3750-X switches united in one logic device on StackWise and StackPower technology. The access level of the local computer network is organized using the Catalyst 2960 Plus switches. In turn, safe connection to external data transmission channels is implemented using multiservice ISR 2900 routers and a cluster from firewalls of new generation Adaptive Security Appliance of 5515-X.

For the organization of a corporate system of communication the equipment and the software of Avaya is selected. As a hardware platform the Avaya S8300 server and a media gateway of G450 are used that in total with a management system for calls of Avaya Aura Communication Manager represents the flexible and scalable solution satisfying to all needs of operational office in Tyumen of VTB bank. Upon termination of this stage of works the staff of operational office received the tool for interaction optimization as with clients of the company, and with each other.

For the organization of backup the software product from Symantec, namely — Backup Exec 15 was selected. Thanks to this solution the customer received fast backup, a possibility of deduplication of data, simple and intuitive recovery of the virtual systems and databases.
