2008
The performance of Lattelecom in 2008, as well as other companies, was significantly affected by inflation - rising prices for labor, utilities and energy resources. In turn, the economic downturn in Latvia had a significant impact in the second half of 2008.
2008 marked the fact that mobile service providers continued to rapidly enter the market for Internet access services, and these trends influenced the fact that Lattelecom had to compete with mobile operators not only in voice services, but also in the market for Internet access services.
