"Beacon" will pay nearly 20 million rubles for support of solutions of Oracle

Technical support services of software of Oracle for 20 million rubles

In January, 2016 the Mayak Production association entering into Rosatom State Corporation summed up the results of a public electronic auction for right to contract on providing the certificate of technical support of the software of Oracle^[1]. The starting price of the contract was 19.95 million rubles.

Only one application from Softline Projects company was submitted for an auction. On January 26, 2016 according to the results of precontractual negotiations the decision to sign the agreement with this company was made. The price of the agreement did not change and was 19.95 million rubles.

Let's remind that within the agreement the consulting help with phone, e-mail and via the website of technical support concerning installation and operation of programs, including identification of errors in a programs runtime and development of solutions on their elimination should be provided to the enterprise. The consulting help should be provided for the problem resolution which can be reproduced in the versions of programs supported at the moment and provided that programs did not change the customer and are operated on the respective hardware-software platform. Service of the customer should be executed in the round-the-clock mode.

The list of solutions to which support services extend includes 27 names softwares. Technical support of the software should be performed within 12 months.

In documentation to an auction it is also noted that software products of Oracle are used as the platform (DBMS) for Alfa corporate information system. At the same time, at the moment time a system can work only with use of Oracle DBMS.

Here it is necessary to remember the project of other enterprise of Rosatom - "The Russian federal nuclear center - the All-Russian Research Institute of experimental physics" (VNIIEF). Since September, 2015 VNIIEF started migration of the application software from Oracle DBMS on PostgreSQL. ERP was going to subject to migration, management systems for fixed assets, maintenance and repair of the equipment (EAM) and also a production management system (MES). At the same time all listed application software is based on the Alfa platform.

Technical support services of software of Oracle for 18.2 million rubles

At the beginning of May, 2015 the Mayak production association summed up the results of open auction on rendering services in providing the certificate of technical support of the software of Oracle^[2].

Within purchase technical support services for Oracle Database (Standard and Enterprise Edition), Real Application Clusters, Internet Developer Suite, WebLogic Server Standard Edition and other software were required for the customer. The starting price of the agreement – 18.4 million rubles.

Applications of 2 companies - Softline Trade and FORS group were submitted for tender. The smallest price (18.234 million rubles) was offered by Softline Trade. This company was also announced by the winner.

According to the results of precontractual negotiations the price was in addition reduced to 18.200 million rubles.
