IBM Graph

IBM Graph is completely managed database on the basis of graphs. It is created on the Apache TinkerPop platform.

On February 9, 2016 IBM announced expansion of a portfolio Cloud Data Services. The IBM Cloud platform provides 25 additional services.

Cloud providers can use hybrid cloud services. They are based on technologies of an open source code, open ecosystems, including data of the companies and third parties, and on an open architecture which allows data to move easily between different services.

A system offers developers a packet of tools which will help to complement ready applications with recommendations in real time, the system of identification of fraud, IoT and the network analysis.

IBM Graph provides the corporate database on the basis of graphs in the form of the service created using Apache TinkerPop, the main packet of graphic technologies open source. IBM Graph provided as service helps to eliminate the typical difficulties connected with data movement from the existing databases in the system of graphic architecture.

We are glad that Apache TinkerPop and graph language of viewing Gremlin are used as the main interface of IBM Graph service. The consolidation TinkerPop happened to Apache Software Foundation in many respects thanks to assistance of IBM.
