The superreliable notebook for Russian Armed Forces - the protected notebook for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

On February 16, 2016 United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation (UIMC) announced the beginning of release of the notebook focused on application in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation[1].

Assembly of the device will begin in the second quarter 2016 at the Luch plant in the city of Ostashkov.

Specifications

The computer operates on the platform of the protected Astra Linux operating system developed for needs of the Russian army and other security agencies.

Appointment

The notebook is created for information processing during the course of performance of fighting tasks by tactical divisions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Representatives of vendor noted the high level of data protection from cyber attacks and "leaks" using special software and hardware solutions on the device, including at information transfer at the same time in a text and voice format, in the video conferencing mode.
