Wireless sensors for a high-quality asparagus
Bosch increases productivity of an asparagus at commercial production using network radio sensors. As you know, best of all the asparagus grows at a temperature of 18-22 °C. One of methods of maintenance of such temperature — to cover beds with sheets of a bilateral foil (one party black, another — white). To warm up the soil, the foil turns the black party up, to the sun. To cool too heated soil, the foil turns the white party. Aiming to help farmers to maintain the necessary temperature, the startup of Bosch under the name Deepfield Robotics developed the solution consisting of several soil sensors which take its temperature at a different depth. Temperature indicators on a cable come to the small radio transmitter sending these data to a cloud of Bosch of IoT. From here data are redirected to the application on the farmer's smartphone. Precisely monitoring changes of temperature of crops of an asparagus, farmers can quickly optimize conditions of their growth.
