Vyborg bank is available to clients service of payment using the smartphone

Vyborg-bank in cooperation with a processing center KartStandart and provider of services of online banking Faktura.ru (enter into the CFT Group) brought into commercial operation service of contactless payments by means of phone. The product is based on the innovative technology of HCE (Host Card Emulation) which allows to make contactless payments really mass.

The HCE technology allows to emulate the virtual card linked to a card customer account and to transfer from it payment data to the smartphone. In fact, such virtual card is additional function of the physical medium – the plastic card. To use service of contactless payment, to clients Vyborg bank is enough to connect Mobile bank service and to activate function of contactless payment in the smartphone. Service works on devices with the Android operating system with the built-in NFC module. Payment is performed by simple present of the smartphone to the contactless reader of the point-of-sale terminal. The transactions up to 1000 rubles made by means of the smartphone do not require input of the PIN code – transaction is made in one contact. After commission of transaction the sms about last transaction with balance on the account comes to phone.

Implementation of service of contactless payment is implemented within strategy for technology upgrade of retail business Vyborg bank.
