Queisser Pharma completed creation of a hybrid mail system

On March 15, 2016 Softline announced project completion on creation of the hybrid circuit of placement of mail services by request of the Russian division of the company "Kvaysser Pharm Gmbh and To. KG".

Project Tasks

For cost optimization on maintenance of operability of mail services, the company "Kvaysser Pharm Gmbh and To. The KG" made the decision on transfer of a part of local infrastructure in a cloud. Migrations were subject only those services which placement outside the Russian Federation does not contradict requirements of the Russian legislation.

Project Progress

As the solution specialists of Softline it was offered to use the hybrid circuit at which postal services are placed both on a cloud platform, and on the local Exchange-server. It allowed the customer to increase fault tolerance of services and to redistribute load of IT infrastructure of the company, having received at the same time uniform instruments of administration.

During the project the local Exchange-server was updated to the necessary level and its integration with a cloud platform is made.

As a result the customer had flexible opportunities for system management and reduced costs for its service.

For the purpose of increase in efficiency of access control and security of data exchange, means of expanded management – Exchange Online Protection is offered to the customer. Its tasks include filtering of the entering and outgoing messages from undesirable mail and malware, drawing up reports in real time, correspondence control.

Project Results

Use of a cloud platform increases scalability of a system, giving the chance to increase quantity of computing resources is proportional to requirements. As a result we could provide the necessary level of efficiency of IT processes without additional costs and entering of significant changes into local infrastructure. Within project implementation for the staff of the company consultations on Exchange Online use, to administration of a system, processing of a mail flow of users were held. Transfer of a part of local infrastructure in a cloud allowed the company to provide continuous process of communication of users, having provided them the convenient and protected service, access to which can be provided from any device.
