According to the Vedomosti newspaper (data of March, 2016), Rosavtodor looks for investors for financing of creation of a system of weight control of trucks. According to plans of Rosavtodor, by 2021 400 automated posts of weight control should act on federal highways. Consultation regarding investment is performed by the company with which Rosavtodor cooperated within system implementation of Plato.

"Today all carriers, according to Traffic regulations, are obliged to observe weight and dimensional restrictions. Responsibility, in case of violation, comes according to the regulations registered by the Code of Administrative Offences where now the order is accurately set: offense identification – the protocol – the resolution – a penalty. The legalized procedure of automation, undoubtedly, will allow to minimize these types of violations. And it is absolute advantage for quality of a paving and engineering infrastructure of the Russian highways in general", - the President of Geolife Group Kurmanov Anatoly notes.

In 2015 Rostransnadzor revealed more than 20 thousand violations concerning weight and dimensional restrictions. Data on the actual quantity and about the volume of the financial resources which arrived as a result of payment of penalties are not known. But if penalties were levied for all violations revealed by Rosavtodor, then receipts in the state treasury many times would exceed charges of Platon.

Long-term practice of work of automatic complexes photo and video fixings of violations of the high-speed mode repeatedly proved efficiency of a machine method of identification of fixing of violations in comparison with activity with involvement of people. An exception of a human factor, including, and in its corruption part, undoubted plus. Therefore, automation of control of carriers in this segment already becomes a necessity.

"According to forecasts of Rosavtodor, the project on implementation of an automated system of weight and dimensional control will pay off in three years, and it is rather short term. Whether Rosavtodor will meet the specified time frames, depends investments and constructions of the system. Anyway, determination of a dimension is considerable spodruchny to do, for example, using Avtodor Group, and to control weight, considering distribution of onboard telematic terminals, newly created JSC GLONASS could. If in the project progress everything, without exception, participants act by the uniform and commonly accepted rules, then it will increase efficiency of control of carriers and also will do only good to all industry", - Anatoly Kurmanov adds.
