The logistics division of DHL updated Oracle Database 12c

The Borlas consulting group, the partner of Oracle corporation of the Platinum level, carried out migration of databases of crucial applications of division of DHL Supply Chain Russia on the version of Oracle Database 12c.

The versions of databases used earlier did not meet the necessary requirements for reliability and functionality. Therefore the decision to carry out their updating was made. Specialists of Borlas were involved to the solution of this task.

During the project several databases of logistics information systems, applications for formation of financial statements and also storage of databases were migrated on the new version of DBMS. Upgrade provided compliance of the major business processes of the company to the best world experience: with transition to Oracle Database 12c the company gets access to more than 500 new features implemented in this version of DBMS.
