Sberbank will spend more than half a billion rubles for products of Apple

2017: Purchase of tablets and computers of Apple for 577 million rubles

In August, 2017 Sberbank announced two tenders on acquisition of different products of Apple for the total amount of 577 million rubles.

Sberbank will buy structures of Apple for 577 million rubles

The first purchase^[1] means delivery more than 20 thousand iPad Wi-Fi tablets 32GB for the total amount of 439.2 million rubles. Within 7 weeks from signature date of the agreement, gadgets will have to receive bank departments in 83 cities of the country.

The second purchase - combined^[2]. The bank expects to receive different versions of iPad for 138 million rubles - iPad Wi-Fi, iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular, 10.5-and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, iPad mini 4, etc., MacBook Pro and Air notebooks, Mac Pro computers, iMac monoblocks and also other accessories - charging, adapters, covers, etc. These products of the "apple" company also should be delivered in Sberbank branches in regions and in the capital.

The supplied equipment should be certified according to requirements of the technical regulation Rosstandart and have the certificate Rostest (RUTI) or the certificate of conformity substituting it. The guarantee should make not less than 1 year.

The results of an auction will be summed up no later than September 29, 2017.

2016: Purchase of 22 thousand iPad tablets on 734 million rubles

In April, 2016 Sberbank held the tender for acquisition of 21921 Apple iPad tablets of different models. The total initial amount of purchase was 737.4 million rubles^[3]. The OCS company selected by the winner suggested to reduce the price for 0.5% - to 733.7 million rubles.

OCS will deliver to iPad Air bank of the first and second models and also iPad mini second and fourth of models from 16, 32 and 64 GB of memory.

Devices intend for bank departments in Moscow, Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Khabarovsk, Tyumen, Perm, Samara, Yaroslavl, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and other cities.

In 2015 Sberbank already bought more than 10 thousand Apple iPad for the employees. Then in documents of bank it was explained that devices are required for consultants for banking products.

2015

In July, 2015 Sberbank announced a quotation request ^[4] at the choice of the supplier of the Apple iPad Air 2 tablet computers (16 GB of WiFi). In total the bank is going to buy 10,380 tablets. The maximum amount which it is ready to pay for devices makes 281.5 million rubles. Delivery date of products is designated for 6 weeks from signature date of the agreement.

The OCS company which offered the minimum price became the winner of the tender. Also the requests to Sberbank were sent by Marvis and DiHouse.

As it appears from the tender documentation, tablets are intended for consultants of Sberbank for banking products. Sale of online products and services of bank, an explanation for clients of advantages of use of devices of self-service and training in work with them, refining of the purpose of a visit of the client to bank and its direction to the corresponding specialists of department and also the offer to clients of "products/services of day" belongs to duties of these employees.

Tablets were going to be distributed on all territorial banks of Sberbank. Their greatest number – 1290 pieces – will be delivered to Moscow. Other largest deliveries – 1258 and 1007 pieces – are intended for branches of Sberbank in Samara and Yekaterinburg respectively.

More than 10 thousand iPad are intended for consultants in all territorial banks of Sberbank

Earlier Sberbank already announced quotation requests on delivery of iPad tablets for territorial banks. For 2014-2015 on the official portal of state procurements 19 such requests are registered. The volume of the largest of them is about 4.9 million rubles.

In Sberbank at the time of the publication of material could not answer questions of TAdviser concerning purchases of iPad, including – why the bank gives preference to devices of this brand. Terms of reference of a considerable part of purchases iPad contained warning of inadmissibility of product offering of other brands. Representatives of the West Ural bank of Sberbank the uncontested need for iPad explained^[5] earlier^[6] by the fact that products of Apple received a priority "by criterion of compatibility with a specialized software of bank at observance of parameters of high performance".

The same territorial bank told that bought iPad tablets for mentors on implementation of the standard operational procedures performing exit consultation.
