Volkswagen Group began the organization of a private cloud on the OpenStack platform

On April 12, 2016 it became known of OpenStack implementation project for the organization of a private cloud of Volkswagen Group company.

After comprehensive selection of technology of a private cloud the European producer of a car stopped the choice on Mirantis as the supplier of a ditributiv of OpenStack. Volkswagen Group will use Mirantis OpenStack for management of applications in all companies representing the brands entering into it.

On the example of such companies as "Volkswagen", we see that OpenStack continues to develop the success in that segment of the market which worked only with the closed and paid software, for example, of production of VMware or Microsoft earlier.
