What is made by DIA with hundreds of copies of the core banking system of the liquidated banks

Activity of Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA, the Agency) is connected, including, with liquidation procedures of banks in the course of which the Agency acts as the corporate receiver (liquidator) of banks. For the solution of assigned tasks the Agency will organize access to the core banking system of the liquidated banks. Thus, hundreds of copies of the core banking system of the liquidated banks are at the disposal of the Agency. Having the complete information on accounts, the DIA performs payments of an insurance indemnity to investors, will organize settlings with creditors and also responds to appeals of public authorities in the course of conducting investigations.

For the solution of above-mentioned tasks search of necessary information on clients was performed manually by employees of the Agency. Specialists had to work with all types of systems existing in the banking market, each of which has the logic of work. Besides, recently the number of the liquidated banks began to increase. In this regard information volume, requiring the analysis increased.

For the purpose of simplification of the procedure of work with the accounting systems of the liquidated banks, the Agency announced an open competition on application programming for the organization of universal access to the core banking system. The Neoflex company which solved for the customer at once two problems was recognized the winner: during the project the universal application working in the mode of a single window was developed and also integration with the systems of the liquidated banks was carried out. Besides, the developed application differs in the ergonomic interface.

Specialists of Neoflex on the corporate bus Oracle SOA Suite created the application, developed special adapters to 18 ABS types of different producers and also connected over 300 copies of bank core banking systems which are already used now by employees of the Agency. Later the core banking system of all liquidated banks will be connected to the application.
