2021: Personnel Adaptation Automation Project
On December 8, 2021, SAP announced that Norilsk Nickel automated the personnel adaptation process based on the SAP HCM solution.
In 2021, more than 2 thousand employees, including 600 workers, became users of the system, and the adaptation process became clearer for all participants. The partner of the project was the company "Evola."
The main goal of the project was to standardize the adaptation process in the company. It was important to create a convenient and accessible system that would help new employees understand their priorities and key team priorities. The system is available to all employees through a personal account or through chat bots for workers without a stationary computer.
"According to the results of the survey, managers who accept employees confirmed the relevance of the implementation of the system and the positive effects of the digital project. So, automation of the process allows you to monitor the quality of passing the test period in the system. There is an open dialogue between managers and employees to quickly resolve all emerging issues, "commented Evgenia Patsyna, head of the Norilsk Nickel personnel selection, assessment and adaptation department. |
A single space allows employees to see their plan and goals set for them at the beginning of the adaptation period. Managers and curators can monitor the achievement of these goals in real time. For the convenience of users, training video instructions are available to tell you how to work with the system. Thanks to the digital project, it was possible to reduce the labor costs to support the adaptation processes and increase the manageability of the quality of passing the test period by new employees.
"The automation of the adaptation process at Norilsk Nickel is a landmark HR project with clear qualitative benefits. People are the most valuable capital of any company, and the opportunity at the start to give them convenient tools is a contribution to future engagement and loyalty to the company. Together with Norilsk Nickel, we have already implemented several digital projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of working with employees, "said Deputy General Director of SAP CISAlexey Leontovich. |
2018: Corrective Reporting Project
On December 13, 2018, SAP CIS announced that Norilsk Nickel had implemented a project to create corrective reporting for the calculation of insurance premiums based on the SAP HCM - Report Management System (RMS) decision. According to the company, the system will allow you to generate reports without manual adjustments and reduce the time for its preparation. As of December 2018, the decision was introduced at 3 enterprises of Norilsk Nickel with a total number of more than 12 thousand employees.
The main prerequisite for the implementation of the system was the requirements of Russian legislation - order of the Federal Tax Service from 10.10.2016 No. MMV-7-11/551. According to the order, the company must provide the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation with corrective reports taking into account changes in data for previous reporting periods, for example, the provision of sick leave for the duration of a person on vacation, payment of benefits and other circumstances.
The development of the solution taking into account the requirements of Russian legislation was carried out by employees of the Moscow division of SAP Labs CIS. |
