Goznak (DPC Projects of creation and upgrade)

The projectible DPC of Goznak in St. Petersburg on the characteristics put in it will exceed the present power of the operating data center of the organization in Moscow. In the first case it is about 400 server racks, and in the second — so far only about 220.

As it became known CNews preparing for construction in St. Petersburg of DPC of Goznak on the scales can exceed the main data center of the organization in Moscow. "The new technology platform is designed proceeding from a possibility of placement up to 400 racks and the level of reliability of infrastructure Tier III" — heads of the press service of Goznak Natalya Nikiforova^[1] explained CNews^[2].

According to her, the DPC operating now based on the Moscow printing house (branch of Goznak) locates a possibility of placement up to 220 racks. However, works on development of this data center and input of new machine halls continue. "They will be performed step by step throughout 2016-2017" — Nikiforova says, without commenting on information from media, that in the long term the quantity is resistant - places can be here too brought to 400.

Nikiforova adds that creation of the technology platform in St. Petersburg will take place step by step in the medium term. By the parameters its infrastructure will be approximate to the Moscow DPC. At this DPC in the Northern Capital it will be used not only for placement of information systems of Goznak, but also for rendering services for the benefit of third-party customers on a commercial basis.

According to a source of CNews informed on use of IT infrastructure of the organization, delivery of resources in lease will not become for Goznak something new. The Moscow data center already has such experience.

Follows from documents that the average power of each server rack is calculated at the level of 8 kW. The total area of all used premises under DPC will be not less than 3 thousand sq.m.

It was separately specified in technical specifications that design of technical means of protection of DPC will execute JSC FTsNIVT SNPO Eleron.

The starting price of the contract was exposed at the level of one million p35. The tender caused a stir. Applications for participation in it were submitted by 12 organizations: Union group LLC with the offer in p23.99 of one million, Ai co Ltd (one million p30.18), Lanit Ltd (one million p34), ADM partnership LLC (one million p25.79), Bureau of the Equipment Project Ltd (one million p24.81), Data dom Ltd (one million p29.06), N-kom LLC (one million p7.95), Paravan ay-ti LLC (one million p29.38), JSC Giprotyazhmash (one million p28.03), Ensys Technologies LLC (one million p30), JSC Giprosvyaz-4 (one million p27.73), JSC NVision Group (one million p29.22).

During consideration of requests four of them ("Date the house", Ai co, "Bureau of the equipment project" and "A paravane of IT") for one reason or another did not undergo qualification selection. From other the maximum number of points typed the offer of Union group. This company was also recognized the winner.

Design should come to the end within 180 days from the moment of contract signature, i.e. till September 30, 2016.
