Rostelecom became the prime vendor the TV set of services for Letual network in all Russia

Rostelecom became the main provider of retail network of shops L'etual in the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the results of an open competition the agreement on the organization of a virtual private network for IP VPN technology (Virtual Private Network is a virtual private network), which will cover not less than 390 shops L'etual across all Russia is signed. Let's remind in Sverdlovsk region, 32 shops of L'etual network work (including in Yekaterinburg – 19, in Nizhny Tagil – three, in Kamensk-Uralsky – two and in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Krasnoturyinsk, Novouralsk, Pervouralsk and Serov – on one shop). The status of the main provider L'etual grants to Rostelecom the priority right to rendering services to new shops.

Rostelecom became the winner of competition as has own extensive network of wide geography and also thanks to unique technical solution which was proposed for implementation of tasks of customer organization.

"Before all processes in shops of L'etual network were performed on the Internet: e-mail, internal IP-telephony and even acquiring - payment acceptance process on bank cards. Thus, all aspects of activity of the company directly depended on quality and data transfer rate, - the representative of Alkor i Co LLC head of department of infrastructure of IT Komosov Dmitry says. – Within the held competition Rostelecom proposed technical solution which allows to guarantee communication quality for shops. Besides, with federal provider of services the full range of telecommunication services in the uniform agreement will allow us to receive signing of the contract and will simplify process of interaction with the operator".

For fulfillment of requirements of the client Rostelecom proposed individual technical solution: creation of network on IP VPN technology with reservation for a cellular network of data transmission. In this case, data are transmitted not through public network, and via secure channels of communication that allows to provide the admission of the most priority traffic. the virtual private network for L'etual will consist of not less than 390 points across all Russia with reservation of each of them by the alternative independent channel and equipment installation of automatic switching, the center of network will be in Moscow.

"The solution proposed by Rostelecom will provide permanent availability of acquiring. Each client L'etual will be able easily to pay goods with the bank card now and to forget about long queues which arise at a delay with payment confirmation, - the vice president for work with corporate and state segments of Rostelecom Valery Ermakov comments on the project. – Technical solution of Rostelecom will allow the client to reduce operating expenses on communication services and to considerably increase quality of the provided communication services. Successful project implementation will allow us to propose this solution with a reserve on 3G|to LTE networks to other retail networks".

The diagram of switching of shops to a new solution is approved. Start of pilot points with reservation for demonstration of opportunities of the solution then reservation for all other points will be provided prepares.

Work on this project will become continuation of cooperation within which Rostelecom provided with Internet access of 96 points of L'etual network earlier and also built reference network IP VPN for four points in Moscow, including head office of the company.

Rostelecom provides a possibility of the VPN organization at any level: local, regional, federal and international. Connection to network is performed at speeds up to 1 Gbps in regions of Russia and up to 10 Gbps - in the territory of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Capacity of own network of package switching (IP/MPLS) Rostelecom - more than 2 Tbit / page Besides, Rostelecom has the certificate of conformity of network of package switching to requirements of information security of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC of the Russian Federation).
