Embarcadero RAD Server

Product
Developers: Embarcadero Technologies
Date of the premiere of the system: 2016
Technology: Development tools of applications

In May, 2016 Embarcadero Technologies (which entered into Idera), the supplier of software solutions for application development, provided the RAD server, the solution which provides the server platform for development and deployment of application services on Delphi and C ++ to Builder.

Using the RAD server, developers do not need to build own back-end servers and services. Just load the Delphi or C methods ++ Builder on the RAD server, and the server code will become available to the client through the managed endpoints of REST/JSON. The services and services of integration which are built in RAD Server provide all most necessary server functions and easy access to key external systems. RAD Server can be easily unrolled at the enterprise or on a cloud hosting, such as Amazon and Azure.

RAD Server is back-end the platform for independent suppliers who build the integrated repeatedly unrolled solutions, or for development teams of applications for internal use. RAD Server has flexible and available options of licensing under specific needs of different developers. They can or purchase the license for the specific number of end users, or purchase the license for one or several platforms for work of an unlimited number of users of applications.

Opportunities and advantages of RAD Server

  • The publication of endpoints (REST endpoints) - all-water, a ready basis for Back-End API and application services of your application.
  • An interface layer of integration of software – components of integration provide ready "from - boxes" means of connection of external servers, applications and services.
  • Services of applications is a set of the built-in services for support of your applications, including necessary functions, such as directory service of users and management of users, pop-up notifications, tracking of location of the user and the built-in drive of data.
