2014: Takeover of ERwin
Embarcadero Technologies acquires a business related to the ERwin data modeling system from CA. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Embarcadero is set to combine its simulation technology with ERwin, claiming they complement each other well. As a result, data architecture will become a core part of the company's business.
