Rosseti - the largest in Russia and the world the energy company providing transfer and electric power distribution - summed up on October 17, 2016 the tender results on purchase of licenses of the software of Microsoft and services of expanded support of Premier Support^[1].

4 applications were submitted for tender with the starting price of 2.082 billion rubles. Offers arrived from companies "Insight Technology Solutions" (the cost of the agreement - 2.033 billion rubles), Softline Trade (2.063 billion rubles, the collective request together with Lanit), USP Compulink (2.068 billion rubles) and "CROC Inc." (2.082 billion rubles).

The request of Insight Technology Solutions was rejected because of mismatch to requirements of the tender documentation. Other requests were accepted to further review.

Summing up dragged on a little. Originally results of purchase were going to be sounded on September 5, 2016. However date of final consideration was postponed at first for September 30, and then at all is shifted on the middle of October.

The winner was declared at a meeting of the tender committee which took place on October 17. The collective participant as a part of companies "Softline Trade" (leader) and Lanit which taking into account the procedure of rebidding, offered the smallest price of the contract - 2.033 billion rubles became him. During precontractual negotiations the total cost of the contract was in addition reduced for 50 thousand rubles.

Licenses and support of Microsoft are required for branches and representations and also the affiliates of Rosseti (in which the company owns more than 50% of voting shares) located in the territory of Russia: Rosseti, IDGC of Centre, "IDGC of Centre and Volga region", IDGC of Volga, "IDGC of the Northwest", IDGC of Ural, "IDGC of Siberia", IDGC of the South, "IDGC of the North Caucasus", "MOESK", Tyumenenergo, Lenenergo, Yantarenergo, Kubanenergo, shopping mall.

Assignment of rights of use of software of Microsoft and access to technical support services should be provided annually, since October 1, 2016 within three years. For IDGC of Centre services should be rendered since December 16 and also within three years.

In total Rosseti purchase 226 thousand licenses for different products of Microsoft, including Windows, Office (Standard, Professional, 365), SQL Server (client and server licenses), Visio (Standard, Professional), the Visual Studio (Professional, Enterprise), SharePoint Server, Exchange Servers (Standard, Enterprise), etc.
