Aggregion uses Microsoft Azure for holding a promotion action

Softline provided the cloud storage based on Microsoft Azure of Aggregion company. As a result the customer received instruments of creation of the IT service that considerably simplified content delivery to consumers.

Aggregion company – the owner of the platform of the same name which represents set of tools for licensing of digital content, management of access to it, copyright protection. In addition, the solution gives the chance to partners to extend content of owners, combining it with any goods or services on online and offline platforms. The structure of Aggregion includes three geographically distributed offices at which more than fifty employees work. At the end of 2015 the company performed sale more than 15 million licenses for educational content.

The Aggregion company acts as the contractor of the joint project of global manufacturer and the film distributor of the video production with Pearson publishing house (one of the largest suppliers of printing and digital educational products). Under the terms of an action, users who purchase books for studying of English of Pearson get access to animation series to half a year. Video content is available to downloading in the free application of A-Store Reader. Under the terms of cooperation, Aggregion had to provide convenient and quick access of users to files, and owners to media storage for what specialists of the company made the decision on lease of additional cloud capacities. As the IT partner the Softline company having extensive examination on cloud solutions was selected.

After carrying out contrastive analysis of different cloud storages and their assessment preference of the customer was given to Microsoft Azure Storage. This product is characterized by high availability, speed of work and fault tolerance. Besides, as the publishing house and the world leader of show business planned development of joint interactive services, in particular, of video streaming, it was more preferable to use a product line of Microsoft: it completely covered the need for necessary IT tools. And their integration with Azure Storage reduced time for development, implementation and a project startup.

Specialists of Softline provided to the customer a cloud hosting based on Microsoft Azure. Local testing of the solution with assistance of specialists of Aggregion within the provided number of licenses for video content was originally held. During testing stability of work of storage, availability of separate types of content, a possibility of loading from different devices and with different parameters was estimated. After that cloud infrastructure was put into operation.
