The Inoventica Services company became the winner of an open competition on the right of signing of the contract with St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications of the prof. M.A. Bonch-Bruyevich to technical maintenance and providing cloud computing resources for functioning of the All-Russian student's Медиапортал.рф portal.

According to conditions of the signed agreement, Inoventica Services will provide services in storage, delivery and providing photo, video and audiocontent placed on Mediaportala by universities project participants.

Specialists of Inoventica Services will develop the solution based on cloud ICT infrastructure of the Inoventica group provided by a transport and server framework with a possibility of synchronous replication of virtual machines between the distributed platforms of DPC Inoventica and also with an installed software of the customer.

At the heart of the solution Inoventica Services the concept of virtual DPC which means providing a technology system to the customer, in which guarantees of availability of functioning of the provided services are provided not only due to reliability of one physical DPC, and due to delivery of service from the available DPC of Inoventica, nearest to the user, will be used, explained in group.

Within the first stage of project implementation 4 main cores, 16 GB of RAM and 3 TB spaces within a storage system will be selected. However features of creation of IT infrastructure of Inoventica (a geocluster, geographically spaced DPCs, own transport infrastructure) will allow to increase flexibly involved tanks for Mediaportal (cumulative computing capacity of the equipment — 13 petaFLOPS, data storage total volume — 122 petabytes, capacity of communication channels — 20 Tbit / c).
