The head company of the INOVENTICA Group of Kommunikatsii dlya innovatsy Ltd announced in July, 2011 carrying out the choice of producers of computing and network infrastructure for the first "cloud" DPC which will be constructed in Sudogodsky district of the Vladimir region.

Solutions of the leading domestic and foreign equipment suppliers among which HP, IBM, Dell, Aquarius, Kraftway and others are considered. Equipment suppliers presented not only "classical" solutions, but also the last developments in plot area of DPC.

It is planned that in the first "cloud" DPC the cluster solution intended for rendering "cloud" services among which the main share will be occupied by IaaS, "cloud" infrastructure in lease and dynamic virtual machines "in a cloud" will be placed. Total computing power of a cluster will be 640 main cores and the 8th terabyte of RAM, and the capacity of storage will be the 500th terabyte.

Also in computing infrastructure of DPC of INOVENTICA from 1500 to 2500 servers of standard architecture for rendering a full range of services of a traditional hosting will be placed.

One of the largest "cloud" providers - Parking.ru which entered into the INOVENTICA Group will render these services to end consumers.

The main requirements imposed by INOVENTICA IT operator to the equipment are: fault tolerance, scalability and also compatibility with solutions of the leading world companies in the field of virtualization, such as Microsoft, Parallels, VMware and others. It is supposed that on each class of solutions different equipment suppliers will be selected.

Experience of implementation of computing and network infrastructure in the first "cloud" DPC will be considered at construction of the second and the subsequent DPCs of INOVENTICA Group.

In a complete configuration the cost of the purchased equipment will not exceed 90 million rubles, at the same time supply of equipment will be performed by stages. Delivery of the first batch of the equipment is planned for September of the current year.

In November, 2011 INOVENTICA announced signing of the contract on creation of network infrastructure for the first "cloud" data processing center of INOVENTICA which prepares for commissioning in Sudogodsky district of the Vladimir region. Network infrastructure of DPC will be constructed on the equipment of one of the largest global manufacturers - Juniper Networks company. Supply of equipment will be performed by the system integrator Ntype LLC having the status of the Elite Partner of equipment manufacturer of Juniper Networks.

Network infrastructure of "cloud" DPC of INOVENTICA will be provided by a two-level system. The top level of network hierarchy will be formed by two mutually reserved modular Juniper routers of family MX. The bottom level of access to network infrastructure will be organized by formation of a stack of the Juniper switches of EX4200 series. The fault tolerance of connection of the EX4200 switches to routers of a core will be reached by duplication of connections. Supply of equipment of Juniper Networks will be performed by stages. Delivery of the first batch of the equipment is planned for December, 2011.

40 Gbps based on the equipment Ciena

INOVENTICA of Kommunikatsii dlya innovatsy Ltd announced in the summer of 2012 a successful completion of tests of technology of 40 Gbps based on the equipment Ciena on strategically important direction of Moscow-Vladimir-Nizhny Novgorod.

In the conditions of increase in a share of the rendered infrastructure services, such as consolidation of fragments of hybrid clouds and providing in use of a complex of resources of DPC (the share in revenue of Group made about 70%), INOVENTICA plans expansion of own backbone network. The INOVENTICA group together with ADV Consulting tested signal transmission at the level of 40 Gbps using the equipment Ciena over own DWDM of Siemens Nokia network. It the example of joint successful use of the equipment of two producers, according to us, is the first in Europe. It is planned that increase by 4 times of bandwidth in the Vladimir DPC will allow to meet the considerable demand for service of lease of a dedicated server (dedicated) created within the first 5 months since the beginning of its start.

2014: 12 million users will receive SLA at access to cloud services of Inoventica company

The Inoventica group had an opportunity to offer SLA (The agreement on the quality level) of 12 million more users of cloud services providing the minimum delay by transfer of packets (round trip delay) less than 10 ms and the loss of packets tending to zero. Till this time was considered that SLA, unique in the market, at access to cloud services is best effort, i.e. – "will carry – you will receive".

Such advantage became possible thanks to commissioning of DPC in Yekaterinburg. This technology platform of the Inoventica Group became the third after Moscow and Vladimir and the first in the Ural Federal District. At the same time direct ("one-hop") access to Inoventica services for end users of operators of broadband access is provided due to direct network interconnection (such connection of DPCs Inoventica is already implemented with JSC MTT network, ER-Telecom Ltd, JSC SMARTS, Aviatel LLC) and also using organizers of peering (MSK-IX, Aykhoum LLC (W-IX), Piring LLC (Data-IX)).

According to implementable strategy the Inoventica Group according to plan brings into operation DPCs taking into account fixing to everyone of effective service area no more than 500 km. to a point of accommodation of the end user. The coverage of new DPC in addition to Yekaterinburg includes such million-plus cities as Perm, Ufa, Chelyabinsk and also the regional centers with smaller population - Tyumen, Kurgan.

Thus, taking into account the 500th kilometer coverage of DPCs of Vladimir, Moscow and Yekaterinburg the number of potential consumers of cloud services will be - 79 million people (more than 55% of the population of Russia).

Further development of grouping of DPCs of Inoventica will be implemented in process of working off of the technology of a geocluster providing availability and reliability of functioning of the services provided by the IT operator due to delivery of service from any available DPC of a system. In other words - that copy of his virtual machine which is placed on the nearest efficient DPC will work with the user. An opportunity to select the most preferable platform will be additional benefit for users.

Investments into development of the Ekaterinburg DPC in process of involvement of its capacities can reach 30-40 million rubles.

The partner scheme with the Filanco Group consisting in a mutually advantageous resource interchange of DPC and trunk channels is applied to optimization of operating costs (OPEX): Filanco received inter-chip digital links, at the same time costs for the received resources from the Inoventica Group compensates by revenue from providing in lease of space of DPC in Yekaterinburg.
