On May 30, 2016 Alexander Balesny is appointed the head of International Robotics Center created based on NITU MISIS. Earlier Alexander Balesny worked in the defense industry, holding a post of the technical director of a scientific and technology complex of JSC NPK Ural Carriage-Building Plant. The list of its tasks included development of strategy of scientific technology development of the enterprise, the guide of research projects to the directions of city transport and military equipment.
On a post of the head of International Robotics Center (Center) Alexander Balesny first of all intends to be engaged in the organization and carrying out scientific research, mainly for assistance of implementation of disruptive domestic projects on creation of the pilotless systems. He will also solve problems of consolidation of different industry technologies, from development of systems of artificial intelligence before creation of perspective materials and alloys, for creation of components of robots of new generation."We should create the structure which is not conceding by the opportunities to the research centers of the leading developers of the pilotless systems, such as Google, Tesla, Toyota and others", – he told. Among one of the brightest projects of the A. Balesny Center noted creation of a virtual polygon for the testing of UAVs implemented with assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
