At the beginning of June, 2016 MegaFon, Rosseti and VOLS-VL (enters into the Rosseti Group), signed the agreement on cooperation according to which the operator is ready to equip 300,000 power substations with monitoring systems of invasions and collecting of telemetry till 2020.
MegaFon is ready to install on substations of Rosseti the special equipment which fixes opening of doors and movement indoors, automatically does a photo or video of the events and transfers data to the Uniform center of MegaFon for management of networks. In case of any emergency situation, including accidents or shutdown of power supply, information from the Uniform center for management of networks of MegaFon will quickly come to situational analytical center of Rosseti. Such solution will allow to increase energy security of stations, and in case of penetration on substation of children – to prevent a trouble.
In addition to monitoring of invasions, the equipment will be able to carry out accounting of balance of the electric power in real time that will help to lower cases of uncontrolled consumption and unauthorized connection to the power supply network.
"We assume that in a year the new monitoring system and collecting of telemetry will help to save up to 20% on service of substations and also will help to perform monitoring of balance of the electric power, to minimize losses of the electric power, to control in real time operability of the equipment and to timely prevent faults, – the CEO of Rosseti company Budargin Oleg says.
The project includes:
- Connection of metering devices of the electric power to the central automated system of control and electricity metering
- A system allows to collect all data from substations, to facilitate control and accounting of electricity consumption
- Monitoring of resources in real time that will allow to reduce the number of incidents with non-accounting electricity consumption and illegal connection to power plants of the third parties
- According to Rosseti company, the loss from illegal connection to power supply networks in a year averages about 7 billion rubles.
- Ensuring energy security of objects using an invasion monitoring system. The monitoring system will allow to increase the speed of response to possible unauthorized invasion by power facilities. It is especially important in case of penetration on substation of malefactors or children and will allow to prevent a trouble.
