M2M-Monitoring is service for control of the SIM cards used in M2M-solutions. It is focused on corporate clients.

2018: Rate Internet of Things

On October 12, 2018 MegaFon was announced the offer of a rate by Internet of Things for the devices working based on the NB-IoT standard. The rate is applicable not only for work with NB - IoT - devices, but also in networks 2G, 3G, 4G. Possibilities of a rate also include the selected APN network which guarantees safety and security of information transferred from devices.

We tested the solution in the NB-IoT standard and then brought it into commercial operation of century smart city Innopolis. Having updated a core of network, we provided a federal NB-IoT-covering and began to work on implementation of digital solutions in regions of the country – in Chelyabinsk there were "smart road signs" for security on roads, and in Bryansk – economical and energy efficient "smart lighting.

The rate also includes access to the M2M-monitoring platform. 2014: Service start

On August 7, 2014 MegaFon announced the telecom operator start of service of "M2M-Monitoring".

At the initial stage of development of service, functions of monitoring of operability of SIM cards, control of balance of each of them, control of activity, obtaining notifications about events and control of change of the device in which the SIM card is installed are available to customers.


Specific Features

The service "M2M-monitoring" does possible access to operational information about the consumed communication services and about operability of the M2M-equipment. By means of this information it is possible to increase the level of control over the M2M-equipment by control of groups of SIM cards, to prevent emergency situations and an overexpenditure of means.

The service will be useful to banks and trade enterprises, car makers, the companies from the sphere of power and to housing and public utilities, the fuel and energy companies and also the companies specializing in security services, security, to the logistic companies, producers of consumer electronics and system integrators.
