IFS Applications 9 and IFS Managed Cloud on the platform Microsoft Azure optimize management of maintenance of aircrafts in the center of training of pilots of Affinity within the program of the Ministry of Defence of Great Britain investing more than one billion British pounds in upgrade of a system of training of pilots of military airplanes.
Income of IFS for the first six years of the 18-year contract, including the cost of licenses, will be about 1.2 million British pounds.
Since February, 2016 the Affinity Flying Services company is a contractor of the contract worth 500 million pounds sterling on providing the Ministry of Defence of Great Britain and his partner of Ascent Flight Training with training aircrafts for training of pilots of military airplanes within the program of training of flight personnel UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS).
Affinity, Elbit Systems and Kellogg Brown & Root joint venture, will replace the outdated fleet of the Ministry of Defence of Great Britain with 38 modern training aircrafts and also will deliver new exercise machines for training of pilots and equips modern educational classes for training of flight crews of RAF of the United Kingdom, Naval Forces of the Royal fleet and army aircraft. The contract includes development, management and execution of the new training program for pilots till 2033 and provides creation about 200 new jobs on bases of training of personnel in the territory of Great Britain.
For performance of the contract the Affinity company will use IFS Applications 9 and IFS Managed Cloud as full-function MRO and ERP - the solution for end-to-end process automation of maintenance and repairs of airplanes, supply managements of spare parts and materials, personnel and finance. Affinity will deliver training aircrafts and services in their maintenance at operation, optimizing educational process and guaranteeing readiness of the fleet of the Grob G 120TP 'Prefect', Beechcraft 'Texan' T-6C and Embraer 'Phenom' 100 airplanes for accomplishment of educational flights.
