PVcomBank replaces ATM network management and monitoring system

On June 21, 2016, BPC Bank Technologies announced the completion of a project to replace existing card product management and ATM network monitoring systems for PVcomBank (Vietnam). The SmartVista family of products has become the technological basis for the bank's processing center^[1].

Project objectives

In accordance with its development strategy, the bank decided to replace its own systems that have reached the technological limit and do not cope with the volume of transaction flows.

Project Summary

The introduction of SmartVista, certification in the international payment system MasterCard helped the bank offer Vietnamese citizens credit cards of all categories (Classic, Gold and Platinum).

Certification MasterCard was completed in one month. In parallel, testing of e-commerce systems and the management of the ATM network was carried out, which helped to put the system into operation ahead of schedule.

It is expected that the card product management system will help the bank to bring them to market faster, develop special programs in accordance with the requirements of various consumer groups, and reduce transaction costs.
