Project Progress

The volume of functions of the PSIwms system corresponds to the following tasks:

• inventory management in zones at - are capacious, complete sets, issues and shipments of goods;
• management of basic data;
• acceptance of goods, placement according to specific storage strategies;
• stock accounting to within the place and transport unit;
• management of warehouse topology;
• order processing up to management of shipment, preparation for issue and service of interfaces for systems is higher - go and lower levels.

The management system for pilers (SLS) integrated into the PSIwms system issues tasks for transportation along the optimized routes and manages the corresponding movements. Communication between the SLS system and mobile terminals of data transmission is performed on a radio channel.

For optimization of material flows the PSIwms system purchased by Goertz company displays information exchange with a management system for the lifting transport equipment S7-SPS and sorting devices and also itself exercises control, without use of an additional management system for the movement of material flows. Using this system more than 300.000 pairs of shoes and accessories which resupply afterwards in branches are completed.

Project Results

Thanks to the PSIwms system, Goertz company, it was succeeded to increase transparency of processes and to get access in real time to exact statistical data – from quality of suppliers to results of a complete set. Thanks to the PSIwms system, in a warehouse equal 1.5 days managed to achieve goods turnover speed and to sharply raise a delivery quality, having reduced to zero quantity of errors. For storage it is used highly - a rack four passes warehouse on 2.462 pallets and also five block warehouses for the entering goods, one of which has three different storage areas. Daily employees complete up to 35.000 pairs of shoes which are shipped from a warehouse in 3.000 sendings.
