On February 3, 2014 the PSI Logistics company announced system implementation of management of the warehouse PSIwms in BLG Logistics Group company.

In order that the warehouse in Mella more flexibly and quickly adapted to requirements, the BLG company decided out of - to drit the warehouse management system PSIwms. The possibility of independent setup of the PSIwms configuration became for BLG decisive criterion when choosing software provider. This warehouse is automated within the pilot project defining the direction of integration of other warehouses of the BLG group. Therefore for work on the BLG project created the big working group. Members of the group began to get acquainted with PSIwms system configuration at a design stage. Input of a system in operation with transfer of old stocks, including accounting to within the place, took 3 days.

Suppliers remain owners of the products up to its sale to clients, i.e. the BLG company only manages a goods flow. The PSIwms system performs functions on coordination of customer orders and permissions to sale from suppliers that allows to document property right transition. For this purpose different interfaces both for suppliers, and for clients are required. The PSIwms system is capable to process the nomenclature numbers assigned by suppliers without any problems. Thanks to an inventory control with an accuracy of transport unit without reading numbers THOSE, in the logistic downtown of Melle it is provided you - soky reliability of processes. PSIwms identifies goods by number of the article and location. A system allows to create various rules of warehousing taking into account a commodity group, the cargo carrier, characteristics of the article and storage location. The BLG company created the list containing more than 400 rules of warehousing. Virtual planning of loading space which the PSIwms system executes at a stage of formation of the order allows to use optimum the loading areas by the trucks sent daily which number reaches 25. Using Walking-Floor technology molar transportation of goods by trucks in the sequence set by the client will be organized opti-. For quality assurance shipping control is exercised. A system scans EAN codes on the equipment and in real time prints the corresponding labels taking into account the given orders and printing options received from the client. The received labels are attached to goods. In special cases the PSIwms system adds own labels. Results of work of the BLG group are fixed in the corresponding credentials.
