On February 03, 2014 the PSI Logistics company announced system implementation of management of the warehouse PSIwms in Eurotape media service company.

Eurotape performs storage of 30.000 different names DVD, BlueRay and audiobooks in quantity about 25 million pieces. With creation of the second warehouse center the service provider made the decision to implement the warehouse management system PSIwms as information basis for warehousing. Main reasons of such solution: a possibility of multiwarehouse processing of the PSIwms system, high degree of transparency owing to a perpetual inventory, process management by means of the control panel and also development of different strategy of execution of the order. Besides, process management, along with multiwarehouse processing of PSIwms, acts as a template at implementation of new, more effective processes of storage on the first warehouse object.

The solution of the PSIwms system considering needs of the client: IT consolidation of several transport units (TE) in one. It allows si-to connect a stem of PSIwms internal tasks for transportation at a set of small parts of one order.

Data for order processing are transferred by groups to PSIwms of ERP-of a system or from the integrated client systems. PSIwms defines places of a complete set and for the purpose of optimization of a route integrates order positions as the return commissioning in the form of tasks for transportation in one TE.

The complete set optimized along routes for accomplishment of the combined selection of orders is controlled the PSIwms system via the terminal a feather - making data on the principle of "First-inFirst-out" (FiFo). The priorities of the order and technology chains put in PSIwms are activated from the PSIwms control panel. With its help managers can separately and is transparent to manage stocks of all clients and also at any time can cause the corresponding order status. With PSIwms support pickers of Eurotape company thus monthly perform assembly to 350.000 positions of orders.

PSIwms provides an opportunity to the user independently to configure a necessary configuration. Thus, Eurotape can modify in PSIwms topology, storage strategies and complete sets in a warehouse and also control of pilers without considerable expenses on programming.
