Using NOVARDIS EWM all entering, outgoing and internal business processes of a warehouse, distribution cross docking, production and labor management and special scenarios of a complete set and placement were automated. Also functional project scope included integration with the ERP system implemented earlier.

"Increase in speed and accuracy of accomplishment of warehouse transactions by automation of the main business processes was a project objective, at the same time it was necessary to integrate them into the existing ERP system. — Lukin Dmitry, the Chief information officer of Okhapka retail network comments. — Need of changes on the party of the available ERP system did not affect project terms that is indisputable advantage of the set-up solution NOVARDIS EWM. In only 5, 5 months we received completely ready WMS - the solution allowing to implement new warehouse services and to carry out fast and effective changings of processes of a warehouse in response to the changing market demands with insignificant costs".

During the project transition of personnel from work on printing documents on the basis of the orders received in the oral form to work with mobile warehouse terminals on which of a system in the automatic mode tasks for execution arrive was completely performed. System implementation of SAP EWM increased efficiency of linear personnel and its motivation that was impossible at manual distribution of warehouse tasks between workers. Modification of accounting of commodity violations in processes of a warehouse allowed to reduce losses and to prevent abuse of warehouse goods.

Process automation also demanded accomplishment of tasks of zoning of a warehouse which served as premises for its internal reorganization.
