GEA Group in Russia completed setup of SAP

On July 20, 2016 the Softline company announced completion of setup of the SAP ERP system by request of machine-building concern GEA Group AG in Russia.

Project Tasks

In the company it is implemented and SAP ERP resource management system is used. Before IT specialists of GEA in Russia there were tasks of completion of the customized system – it was required to develop the report on the stale goods and the printed form of Delivery note to foreign customer differing from regular. Management of GEA was going to receive the tool for the analysis of goods in breakdown depending on a retention period in a warehouse and also for automatic formation of the approved printed form.

Project Progress

During the project the operating SAP ERP operation algorithms are analyzed, recommendations are prepared, approaches to implementation of the tasks are approved. Specialists of the contractor developed the report for the analysis of the stale goods and a printed form – an analog of the consignment note of TORG 12, created in several currencies. The customer provided test data which should appear further in a form. According to conditions of SLA, terms of primary answer and the maximum time of processing within technical support were two and eight hours respectively.

Project Results

Softline optimized system operation of SAP ERP regarding formation of a printed form and preparation of the report for GEA company in Russia.

Specialists of the customer received convenient tools for the analysis of goods quantity in a warehouse and automatic formation of the reporting. It helped the company to provide optimal fillability of warehouse and to reduce costs for logistics.

In a project deliverable the customer had an opportunity to increase goods turnover rate and to lower labor costs on creation of a printed form. Further we are going to render services in development of the reporting of the VAT, setup of fields of the book of purchases/sales and also financial statements according to the IFRS standards.
