Akros upgraded polygraphic production

On August 1, 2016 the Ricoh company announced the project of installation of the six-color digital Ricoh Pro C7100X printing machine in Akros printing house.

Project Tasks

In the conditions of crisis and fierce competition offset circulations of "Akros" began to fall, some clients switched to digital printing. Therefore the company made the decision to adapt to the changing conditions and to master the new direction of business — digital printing.

On production "Akros", (2014)

The printing house studied the prices and technical characteristics of offers in the market and made a choice for benefit of the digital printing machine of Ricoh. When choosing the machine specialists of "Akros" were guided by characteristics of printing on polymeric and dense materials, ready envelopes, vacuum submission of sheets (as on offset printing machines) - allows to prevent emergence of traces from the giving rollers. The device provides the brochure printing which is not requiring manual selection: sheets initially follow one after another in the necessary sequence. Such technology gives an opportunity at once to transfer the order to assembly.

Project Results

With installation of the Ricoh Pro C7100X printing machine the Akros printing house expanded the range of a printed material and services. The innovation helped the company to strengthen competitive positions in the market of printing and to reach other level.

In the conditions of crisis we did not want to stop on the achieved results — we wanted to develop business further. Therefore opened digital printing — the new direction in work of printing house. And the Ricoh company proposed the excellent solution in respect of price relation and quality — the digital Ricoh Pro C7100X printing machine which completely met our expectations.
