In August, 2016 the Kuban Agroholding, one of the largest agrobusinesses of the South of Russia, announced creation and commissioning of a monitoring system of technology processes at operation of automotive and agricultural machinery. Due to implementation of new technologies of the company it was already succeeded to reach economy of fuel for 32.4%. The Borlas consulting group acted as integrator of the project.

As a basis it was used terminals of Novacom company GNS-GLONASS v.5.0 to which changes under the project were made, in particular the protected body especially for application on agricultural machinery was used.

At the expense of system implementation of monitoring and use of mobile terminals and a geolocation, the holding began to control location of all motor transport and agricultural machinery online and to react quickly to emergency situations, thereby excepting violations and the facts of inappropriate use of vehicles and fuel. New technologies allow to cut fuel consumption more than for 30% a year.

The Kuban agroholding, one of the largest agrobusinesses in the south of Russia, has the extensive and geographically distributed park of the equipment therefore questions of control over its movement and fuel consumption during agricultural works are of great importance as expenditure for the fuels and lubricants (FL) make a considerable part in cost value of agricultural products. Increase in production efficiency and cutting of costs for operation of the equipment is one of the priority directions of the program of development of agroholding.

For the solution of this task the specialized monitoring system of transport and control of fuel consumption ensuring functioning of terminals including in the conditions of low-quality signals of communication was developed and implemented. More than 200 vehicles and several hundred units of agricultural machinery are equipped with the necessary equipment, integration of a complex with a corporate information system of management is executed. Consumption calculation pinpoint accuracy of fuel and lubricants - more than 97% is provided.

Information on traffic is sent to the central dispatcher station and allows the operator to receive "in one contact" online the broad picture of traffic on route, including data on volumes of really received and spent fuel. The CEO, heads of motor transport service, technology and financial service of Kuban Agroholding can obtain information on location and a status of vehicles both from a corporate information system, and using mobile client applications.

Collection of information about a status of transport is performed due to installation of terminal modules. Terminals transfer information from digital fuel level sensors and also information on location, speed and the direction of the movement for the account of use global navigation the satellite GLONASS system.
